猎者悲痛欲绝，将其埋于林中，并立碑曰：“义犬阿黄之墓”。后猎者每至林中，必祭奠阿黄，感其忠勇。

An old hunter lived in the mountains and made his living by hunting animals. His dog, named Ahuang, was over ten years old with mottled fur and was known for its alertness. One day, while the hunter was deep in the forest hunting foxes, he encountered a tiger lying in wait among the grass. Seeing this, Ahuang disregarded its own safety and rushed towards the hunter, barking loudly to warn him, allowing the hunter to escape unharmed. However, Ahuang was severely injured and collapsed.

The hunter was overwhelmed with grief and buried Ahuang in the forest, erecting a tombstone that read: "Tomb of the Righteous Dog Ahuang." Afterwards, whenever the hunter returned to the forest, he would pay respects to Ahuang, moved by its loyalty and courage.
